Management and Operation of the Fund

management teamThe SSDF is a statutory body. This means that it was established by an Act of Parliament, The Poverty Reduction Fund (Amendment) Act 2009, and its powers are defined by the Act which created it. It is directed by a Board of Directors comprised of twelve appointed board members, which include representatives of the public sector, private sector and non-governmental organizations.

The daily operations of the Fund are managed by an Executive Director who is assisted by an Administrative Assistant, a Deputy Project Manager and various heads of departments.
