On Thursday April 18th, contracts were signed between the St Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF), the implementing agency of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) funded projects through the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) with the consultant for the respective sub-projects:
Alpha Engineering & Design (2012) Limited :–
(a) Monchy Early Childhood Development Center
(b) La Borne Water Supply Improvement & Extension
Other Consultancy Engagements for the additional Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) funded projects will conclude subsequently with the consultants listed below:
Caribbean Consulting Engineers (St Lucia) Ltd.:–
(a) Jacmel Early Childhood Development Center
(b) Establishment of Music Recording Studio (Gros Islet)
Dannion CE Ltd:-
(a) La Papel Craft Center Embankment (Laborie)
(b) Monchy East Settlement Road Construction
Theobalds Consulting Limited:-
(a) Vieux Secrieux Water Supply Installation (Gros Islet)
(b) Patience Water Supply and Storage Tank Replacement (Mon Repos)
The consultants will design and supervise the execution of infrastructural works within the next eighteen (18) months.
The accumulative cost of the projects is EC$6.44Million.
